Real Estate Agent

1) What is the job? A real estate agent helps clients buy, sell, or lease land or property. Real estate agents represent property owners when they sell their homes or land. These agents have to inspect properties before they agree to sell them. To determine a property's market price, agents compare the property with similar properties that have been sold recently. They also may make suggestions to property owners about improvements they can make to increase the value of their property. Then agents take pictures and write short descriptions of the property. It's their job to advertise the listing in newspapers, mailings and also real estate booklets. Real Estate agents will frequently have open houses to show the home to the public to help it sell faster. They often negotiate with buyers to get a better sale price for their clients. When a client chooses a property it's the real estate agents job to handle the sale.

2)What is the work environment? A real estate agent works indoors while preparing contracts and paperwork and also inspecting and showing properties. They also work outdoors when inspecting and showing properties. You must have a vehicle to travel to and from properties. You work close with other people. You may have to share office space with coworkers.

3) What do you need for education and training? To be a real estate agent you  need a GED or a high school diploma. Most states require some kind of training program after high school. You  need thirty-sixty hours of course work. Than you need to pass a real estate exam to receive your license.

4) What is the Salary?  $18.54 per hour
                                        $38,570 a year

5) What is the job outlook? The job outlook is very high in the United States.

6) Interested? No I'm not interested in becoming a real estate agent because i don't have all the skills you need.
