Proportion/Scale: BAD example

Proportion/Scale: BAD

This room i put together shows bad proportion and scale. All the items in the room are to big or to small. It makes the room look terrible when you are designing a room. That's why it is important to make everything the right size and have the right measurements.

Harmony : Nature

Harmony: Nature

Harmony: The unity in the bedroom is the theme, Nature. I used many elements in the room. I used line where the pictures are lined up on the wall. I also used texture. The dresser at the end of the bed is smooth on top and down the front is rough where the wood is sticking out.

Color Forecast

Color Forecast

Color Forecast: I used neutral colors throughtout the whole room. This makes the room look like a comfortable and calm place to be. I used different browns, blacks, and golds.

Texture

Texture

Texture: Throughout this room i used different textures. The orange center table is smooth and so is the chairs. The leopard print pillows on the couch are furry. The orange side table with the white lace is alsos furry giving it a cool texture.

Dentist office - Element of Design: Exam

dentist office

In my Olioboard I used space, line, form, and texture. The space is all layed out to make you feel  comfortable in the waiting room of the dentist office. There are chairs to sit, an area for your children to play , and refreshments. The waiting room looks out on the beautiful ocean. I used line when putting in the zebra print over the windows. The texture of the desk is smooth, the trash can is rough on the sides. The chairs by the windows are furry and comfortable. I used form in this picture with rectangles and squares. I feel like the whole room is put together to attract people and make people feel welcome.
